Hago la observación de que algunas están aparentemente repetidas, pero en realidad la diferencia está en los proyectos en los que se incluyeron. Es decir, los proyectos son diferentes… Pero decidí no eliminar lo repetido, pues al final, esta lista la agrego con el único fin de que tengan una idea sobre qué canciones son de las que estamos hablando. 🙂 Las canciones más recientes de Michael (Las escritas o co-escritas por Michael) están en un catálogo independiente llamado MiJac. Este está bajo contrato de administración por Warner ¿Recuerdan? Pero es un contrato que está por terminarse.
En una entrada de hace algún tiempo leíamos que posiblemente pase a ser administrado por Sony/ATV. Pero repito el término “ADMINISTRADO”, ya que la propiedad al 100% de este catálogo es del Estate de Michael Jackson (Sus herederos). Ellos pagarían igual que ahora, comisión por la administración a la casa editorial, pero la totalidad de las regalías son para el Estate de Michael Jackson (Sus herederos).
Entonces, digamos que las canciones que tenían pendientes de tener en propiedad de un catálogo, pagando regalías a los autores, claro está, eran y son estas, las de la época de los Jackson 5…
El Sr. Gordy (De la Motown) había vendido como dice la nota, el 50% de su catálogo a EMI. Eso supongo significa que aún hay algunas canciones de esa época, en propiedad de la Motown… Recuerda que cuando los Jackson 5 dejaron la Motown parte del acuerdo de liberación, fue el derecho al nombre (Por ese motivo, cuando se fueron a la CBS se llamaron The Jacksons) y obviamente derechos de autor de las canciones, ya que en realidad la gran mayoría de esas canciones eran de terceras personas… Los escritores son otras personas… En esta lista resumen que agregué, puedes ver a algunos de los autores…. Sin embargo “I’ll Be there”, “Ben” dos de mis favoritas… ¡Están aquí! (Por algún extraño motivo informático, me acabo de dar cuenta de que no se copió la lista entera… No me preguntes por qué… 🙁 Yo copio las tablas de lo que escribo marcando las columnas… No los renglones… ¡En fin! No sé qué pasó… Pero acabo de agregar -copiar una vez más a la entrada- la lista que hice originalmente, que está más completa que la que se publicó aquí. 🙂 Así podrás apreciar un poco más las canciones incluídas… Verás que aunque son viejitas hay muchas que si conoces, seguro. )
